Electrochemotherapy
Electrochemotherapy is a technique to treat cutaneous, subcutaneous and oral tumors.
This is a type of Chemotherapy that allows delivery of a non-permeant drug to the cell interior. It is based on the local application of short and intense electric pulses that transiently permeabilize the cell membrane. This allows the anti-cancer medication to enter the cancer cells locally.
